What do you need in order for you to design my album?

If you have high quality images in jpeg format (alongside permission to reprint from your photographer) then this is all we need.

How many images do you need?

Our albums have a wide range of pagination options. Therefore we can work with as little or as many images as you have.

I’m confused between spreads and pages

A page is a single side. When we talk about spreads (or double page spreads), this is both facing pages across the width of the album. We design across a spread not a single page. All prices are for the number of spreads in an album, NOT single pages.

How many spreads should my album have?

That is entirely up to you and how many images you have. As a guide we suggest 5-6 images per spread. So if you have 100 images we recommend a 20 spread album. If you’re unsure please Get in Touch and we can help advise you.

I don’t know which style to choose

Our styles are only a guide and if you have something different in mind we can design to your specifications. You can also choose a mix of styles if you prefer. If you really aren’t sure, then once you have sent your images to us, we can advise you which style would suit your images best. Take a look at our most popular styles here.

Will you use all the photos I send?

We try to use as many of your photos as possible in order to best tell the story of your day. Sometimes there may be some photos that don’t quite fit in with the rest on the spread and it works better to leave them out. There is space on the order form for any special requirements if you do wish all of your photos to be used, or to notify us to any particular photos you definitely want to be included.

Do you do any editing to the photos?

We don’t edit photos as a rule as we prefer to leave that to the photographer. However if there are any photos that need some retouching when we receive them, then we can do this for an additional charge.

Can I include any wording within the album?

Yes! Vows and Readings make up a part of the special memories of any wedding day and we can include these within the album.

How do I send you my images?

The quickest way is through our Dropbox account where you can upload your photos and we can receive them instantly.

How long will it all take?

Depending on our current workload and size of the album, we advise between 1-3 weeks for us to design your album. If you request any changes after this we will let you know how long this will take. Once you have signed off your design, the album production takes 7-10 working days.

When do we need to make payments?

As our service is based on the designs of your album, we request 50% of the balance before we commence your designs. The final balance will be due once the designs are signed off and before we order your album.

How do we make payments?

Our preferred payment is by bank transfer or you can send us a cheque. We will send you all the details you need when the first payment is due. We also take payments via PayPal. However this will incur a 3.4% surcharge.
