How it works

step by step

01.

The initial contact

Whether you know exactly which photo album you want to order, or you haven’t the foggiest where to start; get in touch and we can have a chat about your requirements. I’ll then put together a quote and some potential options or ideas.

02.

get the ball rolling

Once you’re happy with your photo album choice, you simply send over your photos (usually I suggest WeTransfer or I can send a DropBox link) plus a deposit payment which is usually around 50% of the balance.

03.

tell me more

I’ll then be in touch to gather more details from you for your album. That could be all the details, song lyrics etc for your Wedding Storybook or simply listing your absolute favourite photos for your wedding album.

04.

let's get designing

It’s now time to start work on designing your photo album or Storybook. If you’ve sent through all your images to choose from, I’ll start by organising those. Then I’ll plan the overall structure of the layout and design some sample spreads in your chosen style.

05.

the first draft

Once you’ve approved the design style, I’ll produce the first draft of your photo album or storybook which you’ll receive in a pdf format. You get the chance to review and make changes.

06.

sign off

Once you’re completely happy with how the design looks, send over your approval and the album design part is done. It’s at this point that the final balance payment is due.

07.

off to print

Now’s the time to make any final decisions on your cover and box choices and any text or logos we’re including. Then it’s off to the manufacturer to print and bind your photo album or book. Depending on the album range, the process can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks.

08.

it's in your hands

Once I’ve received the photo album or book, I’ll check through to make sure everything looks perfect and then I’ll send it onto you and we’re all done!
