Hannah & Sam's Wedding Album

Album: 10×10 inch Bellissimo Perfetto with soft padded photocover.
Location: UK
No. of Spreads: 15

This album features my bespoke wedding album design in my signature Flaunty style…..I used the couple’s favourite images capturing the key moments to fill the page with smaller foreground images supporting the visual story. Rather than a harsh border, I used a lowered opacity frame around the smaller images to ensure they stood out against the background.

The album cover was a soft padded photocover with black faux leather spine and back. I used a simple black and white image of the couple with their backs to the camera which was a lovely natural pose and worked well on the cover. They also ordered some Bellissimo Pro Book copies of the main album which feature a faux leather cover – the spreads inside match the main album.

Here’s some of my favourite album spreads:

wedding album design Flaunty

The beautiful photo of the bride arriving in the car was a perfect feature image for the bride arrival spread as it was a fairly simple moment without featuring too much distraction. The four supporting images support the main image in telling the story of the bride arriving at the venue and walking down the aisle whilst the guests look on.

The first kiss is one of the key moments in any wedding so it deserved to be featured in full on this spread! I converted the image to black and white as it helped to focus on the couple even more without the distraction of colour. The six supporting images leading up to that moment I kept in a uniform layout and in colour to contrast against the black and white background.

No wedding album is complete without a spread or two of the happy couple enjoying their first moments as husband and wife! These four images worked perfectly together as they were all captured in the same location. The flaunty design style allowed me to feature two of the images whilst the two smaller photos created an extra area of interest on the page whilst supporting the main images without cluttering up the spread.
