Gemma & Mark's Wedding Album
Gemma and Mark married in a beautiful rustic barn venue in the Cheshire countryside and their choice of album perfectly complemented their wedding style and decor. The Dreambooks Premium album featured the novel and beautiful wood cover with micro leather spine and back with their logo etched on to the cover and matching wood box. I designed the album in the Fresh style which worked well with their choice of album and wedding photographs. They also ordered some 12×8 inch replica albums for their family.
Album: 15×10 inch Dreambooks Premium Album with Nogal Wood Cover, Bordeaux micro leather spine/back and laser etching. etching.

Here’s some of my favourite album spreads:
The first album spread! Every story needs an introduction so I chose a montage of shots that depicted an overview of the start of the wedding day……guests arriving, the couple in their pre-wedding set up and the small details such as the wedding shoes. A perfect opener to the story.
The groom and his mob suited and booted and ready to head to the ceremony! With the Fresh style, I use different sized images to create an interesting focus and to showcase particular photos – whether that’s one of the couples favourite images or a key photo that depicts the story of the spread.
I love these portrait couple shots taken amongst the hay! They work in both colour and black and white. I showcased one key photo by filling the left hand page with it (framing it with a white border) and featuring two supporting photos on the right hand page keeping the look nice and clean.
It was these images that led to the wood cover choice! Lots of posed shots of the happy couple can look a bit samey when placed altogether but these worked well as they all feature slightly different poses and composition and by differing the sizes, it creates a beautiful montage.
Keeping it simple and letting these two stunning shots speak for themselves!
It’s time for the speeches! Placing several images in a montage works well for this section of the album…mixing up photos of the best man/groom etc delivering the speech whilst also capturing the reaction from the guests. The shot of the newlyweds laughing away at whatever was being said was so beautifully captured that it deserved to stand apart from the rest on it’s own page.
The first dance. These photos worked well in a simple strip across the landscape page format and are just beautiful in black and white!
