Becky & Tom's Essex country club wedding album
B&T’s wedding album beautifully combined both modern and classic elements which was the perfect complement to their big day; a traditional English white wedding which took place in a modern country club venue in Essex.
The wedding album they chose was the popular 14×10 inch landscape format from my Bellissimo Range. Featuring a metallic sheen, the rose gold shimmer cover they chose created a stunning yet subtle contemporary finish with the addition of a crisp white UV print where we matched the font to that used on their wedding stationary and theme. The layout was also a perfect blend of my Fresh and Stylish design styles to produce a clean look using white space whilst showcasing some feature images with a flash of bold!

THE DETAILS
There were several beautiful detail shots of Becky’s wedding attire, jewellery and flowers which worked well together on a wedding album spread to really capture the feel of the wedding theme and her overall look. The dress and flowers photo were the perfect backdrop bookended images and using various sizes of smaller images created focal points and allowed each image to stand out.
THE BRIDE ARRIVES
Focusing on the moment the bride arrives at the ceremony, this wedding album spread perfectly captures and showcases each of the special moments and emotion of this poignant part of the ceremony. I chose to focus the main images on the groom as he gathers his emotions whilst the bride and her dad appear at the end of the aisle. I designed the four smaller images to work together to further tell the story as her dad gives her away and the bride and groom are reunited to share their vows.
HUSBAND & WIFE!
The moment the happy couple are officially married! I wanted to keep this wedding album spread simple to really focus on the key moments and the stunning black and white image of the first kiss became the focal point of the album spread.
THE GUESTS
This group shot was a perfect fit for a double page spread! Group shots can be quite tricky to fit into an album layout as you don’t want to surround them with other photos or be too small to really appreciate each guest. If it fits across a double page then it’s worth featuring on it’s own.
WALK IN THE WOODS
These beautiful images of B&T having a calming stroll through the woods worked best when they filled the page to really make the most of the stunning scenery and colours without overlapping any smaller photos or distracting from the photos themselves.
WHITE FRAMING
Following on from the last spread, this double page also featured only two images which keeps it clean and simple and you can really appreciate the individual photos. The smaller close up image of the wedding rings was beautifully framed by the white space background which allowed it to stand out from the detail of the wood scene.
CUTTING THE CAKE
This wedding album spread featured a nicely balanced mix of cake details and the cutting of the cake with a close up detailed shot blended perfectly into the background. The simple layout flowed well left to right.
FIRST DANCE
The stylish design worked perfectly on this album spread with the large feature image providing a focal point and sets the scene for the whole spread. B&T also wanted to feature the lyrics to their first dance song which I blended into the layout flanked on either side by a beautiful black and white image.
