Revecca & Vishal's Wedding Album

Revecca and Vishal opted for the beautiful (and extremely popular) Dreambooks Signature album in a landscape orientation. It featured the modern yet classic Light Grey Velvet cover and we etched their beautiful wedding logo on to the front cover along with their names. I designed the album in a stunning classic Fresh style which perfectly suited their style of photography.

Revecca & Vishal Album and Box

Here’s some of my favourite album spreads:

The single image on the left hand side was a perfect showcase and focus for the spread of Revecca getting ready coupled with the montage of varying images on the right hand page that utilised a white space border to frame them.

Now it’s the turn of the Groom! I used the single full page bleed images throughout the album to create focus on certain images and key moments of the day which were supported by several images that help to tell the story. In this spread it’s the arrival of the groom and his men at the church.

Now the ceremony is over, it’s time for the formal signing of the register. The four landscape images worked perfectly together in a uniform layout and the beautiful image capturing the happy couple looking relaxed and happy about to leave the church was the perfect showcase photo for this spread.

What a fantastic confetti shot! These four photos focus purely on Revecca & Vishal as they leave the church to their new lives as husband and wife.

It’s always best to keep it simple when it comes to large group shots. With such a landscape album, it’s not really possible to just include one photo across the spread (which works quite well for big group shots in square albums!) so two is a good limit. Rather than fill both pages with full bleed images, I find including a white frame border around one images helps to separate them and each image to stand alone.

I do love a reception venue montage! It’s lovely to include a spread that features details of the decor and elements of the wedding that otherwise may be forgotten over time. By including a few images of the new Mr & Mrs entering the room to applause from their guests adds that bit of action and storytelling to the scene.

Revecca and Vishal wished to include several photos of them looking relaxed and happy in the stunning grounds of their venue and what a beautiful time of day! These five photos worked well together on a spread and created a nice flow across the pages.

This has to be my favourite spread of the album! Two beautiful photos that needed to be showcased fully without added distractions.

I love a black and white photo, especially for a first dance! It constrasts well with the cake and guest photos
